PETROLEUM PROCESSING

Co-Sulphisplit®, Is a catalyst composition of sulfonated cobalt phthalocyanine for oxidation of sour gas and sulfur in crude and its fractions under mild temperature and pressure conditions.

Crac-Kat®, Bi metallic complex catalyst for homogenous thermal oxidation and degradation of hydrocarbons.

SourKill®, High efficiency sulfur scavenger for sour petroleum and hydrocarbons.

V-Kat®, Homogeneous catalyst for simplified operation of cracking crude under mild temperature and pressure conditions, optimizing yields of naphtha while minimizing sulfur contaminants.

Note:  Other metallic phthalocyanines are available upon request

Sulfur removal technology for various crude fractions is available in a proprietary scrubber design.  This includes scrubbers for hydrogen sulfide management, plus oxidation or reduction of other crude fractions.

Dirty SOXTM Crude Refining and Hydrocarbon Sweetening, This technology is suitable for cost effective refining of light crudes and sweetening hydrocarbons.  It entails an atmospheric, ambient temperature, two-step process, in which a “Dirty SOX” compound is obtained and becomes purified by simple distillation. In the first step a ThioActivatorTM agent is mixed thoroughly, which interacts with organic sulfur, including aromatic species.  In the following step, a ThioDigestorTM and PromoterTM blend forms a variety of modified sulfur species, which become much higher boiling than parent counterparts.  These are separated by distillation. Quantities vary according to % sulfur present.  Typically, 1% total sulfur requires 2% (v/v) of Activator and 2%(v/v) of Digester and Promoter blend.  The latter must be pre-mixed at the site prior to use.  Higher sulfur contamination is handled in a proportional manner.  Consult us for details and process tips.
