POLYMERICS

West River Chemicals has developed proprietary resins suitable for thermosetting applications.  Development assistance is available.

Resins for Natural Fiber applications and composites.  Crosslinkable resins are suitable for laminate preparations in thermosetting applications.  As Mannich-Michael polycondensates the pre-polymers are suitable for hand lay-up applications with natural fibersand undergo catalyst curing at ambient temparetures.  Reference U.S. Patent 5,693,725 (Crosslinked Mannich-Michael Polycondensates)

Foundry Resins, A novel family of thermosetting polymers exhibiting outstanding thermal stability and superior ablative properties. Uses in Foundry Industry and Advanced Composites with carbon and other high performance fibers. Maleic resins are low viscosity pre-polymers which undergo ambient curing with the application of a catalyst. Reference U.S. Patent 5,919,873 (Crosslinked Phenolic Polyesters)

Synthetic Elastomer, State of the art  catalysts are available for licensing.  In particular, Reference U.S. Patent 6,797,664 (Sulphured-Metallic Coordinated Complexes in Polyadditive Catalysis) deals with hydrolytically stable coordination catalysts, suitable for the preparation of  elastomeric polymers via emulsion processes.
